Part of a yard renovation completed in the spring of 2005, this photo shows the use of river rock and larger boulders to clean up a shady corner of the yard. Formerly a muddy area in the shade of a mature ornamental crabapple tree, we planted some shade tolerant dwarf dogwood shrubs before installing the rock ground cover. |
