This small garden near the front entrance of a house in Charleswood is populated by a variety of perennials including ornamental grasses, daylilies, irises, and hostas. The goal was to  provide a variety of colors and textures. The various flowering perennials, along with a few annuals  produce a subtly changing display throughout the summer. A collection of small boulders are used to elevate the center of the garden and provide an interesting contrast to the soft foliage of the plants.
